Install float shaft from choke side
(rounded end first) to secure float assembly to
carburetor body. Shaft is press
fit
into throttle
side. Be sure shaft is installed far enough that
bowl clears and float assembly moves freely.
Checkspring clip to be sure it is attached to float
arm and inlet needle valve assembly moves
freely.
Install float bowl, gasket and bowl mounting
screw. Rotate float bowl slightly to ensure bowl
gasket is in place. Checkthat there is no gap be-
tween gasket and bowl mounting screw to pre-
vent fuel leakage.

Install idle mixture needle and spring fin-
ger tight.

Assemble air filter base with spacers,
