Assemble oil pump rod between oil pump
arm and oil pump adjustment lever.
NOTE:
Bend in rodshould
be
toward oil pump
arm
as
shown.
Route hose from oil pump "Out", labeled
on back of crankcase, around side of engine
over oil pump rod to governor lever and attach
hose to nozzle
in
spacer. Secure with clip.
Reassemble Powerhead. Refer to Section
7
for
assembly procedure.
ADJUSTMENT
Loosen pivot bolt securing oil pump adjustment
lever to governor lever.
Push governor lever all the way toward rear
of
engine until throttle of carburetor is in wide open
position and throttle shaft is against stop on car-
buretor.
Align marks on oil pump arm and
oil
pump
housing.
While holding oil pump adjustment lever and
governor lever to maintain proper position,
tighten pivot bolt.
Torque
pivot bolt to

Rotate governor lever to assure linkage moves
freely and oil pump marks are aligned when
carburetor is at wide open throttle position.
NOTE:
Alignment of marks is full flow position
of oil pump. Oil pump flow must
be
synchro-
nized with wide open throttle
