Position governor spring between gover-
nor lever and governor bracket assembly. Hook
upper loop of spring up through speed control
lever as shown. Place rods over bracket assem-
bly and bolt to crankcase.
Attach wiring harness ground terminal to upper
governor bracket mounting bolt on models

equipped.

Attach wiring harness to stop switch on gov-
ernor bracket assembly.
Torque bracket bolts to

Assemble air filter base with spacers, car-
buretor, new gaskets and spacer plate onto
carburetor mounting screws.
NOTE:
Thread screws into spacer gasket
(A)
to hold assembly together.
Holding carburetor assembly, install
oil
pump "out" line
(if
so
equipped) onto spacer
plate nozzle secure with clip. Insert throttle and
choke linkages into position on carburetor.
Rotate assembly into position and secure to
cylinder. Upper shoulder bolt must
be
installed
for alignment of air filter base. Remove after
carburetor screws have been tightened to
specification.
Torque mountlng screws to
