Note!
Manual net tying is not used for daily operation: It serves as
a special operating mode e.g.
y

later time - to be determined by the operator (transfer of
the bale from the baler to the bale wrapper).
y
when the last bale of a field is produced.
See separate operating manual "PRO-LINK for RPC 445",
chapter "Select operating mode" and chapter "Net tying".
Start MANUAL mode: press touch screen button MANUAL
MODE.
When the bale diameter setpoint has been reached the control
box generates an acoustic signal: 6 u beep.
Stop tractor and let pick-up run empty.
Attention, danger of injury!
Proceed with particular care when opening and closing the
tailgate. No persons may stay in the swivelling range of the
tailgate and in the bale unloading area.
Variant 1: Start manual net tying – immediately and
irrespective of the bale diameter reached
Start net tying manually: press touch screen button NET
TYING for 3–4 sec. Net tying is performed.
When the baler is operated in the MANUAL mode, the tailgate
of the baler does not open, because the bale transfer unit and
the wrapping table do not automatically swivel to their bale
transfer positions. In this case the bale wrapper must be
switched to AUTOMATIC. Only then will the bale transfer unit
and the wrapping table take their bale transfer positions and the
tailgate open automatically.
Start AUTOMATIC mode: press touch screen button GO.
Unload bale: see chapter "Unloading the bale", page 95.
