7.14 Tensioning the Net Knife
Normal case: the net knife is tensioned automatically whenever
the tailgate is opened.
Special case: if, while the baling chamber is filled, new net tying
is necessary without opening of the tailgate (e.g. because of a
net roll change or a fault), the net knife can be tensioned by
hand:
îî (Figure 51) Pull the knife carrier against the spring tension
to the front. Then the net knife is released as described in
the chapter "Net Tying and Bale Unloading", page 94.
7.15 Setting the Net Layers
The number of net layers around the bale can be set from 1.5 to
4 by means of the PRO-LINK control box.
