9.3 Bale Wrapper: Bale Tipper
9.3.1 General
Attention, danger of accident!
Do not drive on the road with the bale tipper folded down.
Before driving on the road: Fold bale tipper up and lock it
with the transport lock [4] (Figure 66).
(Figure 65) The bale tipper [1] is a trailing additional implement
towed to the wrapper.
The bale tipper serves for tipping the bales by 90° - after
unloading by the wrapping table of the bale wrapper. In this way
the bale is placed on its front face and not on its lateral surface.
Attention, danger of injury!
(Figure 65) To avoid excessive strain and unhealthy posture:
Mount and dismount the bale tipper [1] using suitable lifting
gear or together with an auxiliary person.
Attention during folding-up of the bale tipper: the castor [3]
swivels through 180°. Keep sufficient distance to the
swivelling range of the castor.
 Mounting the bale tipper: attach bale tipper to the wrapping
table of the bale wrapper using 2 bolts [2]. Secure the two
bolts.
 Dismounting the bale tipper: loosen the two bolts [2] and
remove the bale tipper from the wrapping table.
