7.11 Coupling the Machine
Attention, danger of injury!
It is essential that the permissible support load of the tractor
headstock is observed! The static load acting on the drawbar
of the tractor can reach 1000 kg.
Attention, danger of injury!
The area between tractor and baler may only be entered
when the tractor engine has been switched off and tractor
and baler have been secured against rolling away! apply
manually operated brake and use wheel chocks!
For trouble-free operation of the machine the correct tilt of the
machine and - if necessary - adjustment of the drive shaft is of
decisive importance.
Correct tilt of the machine: see chapter "Correct tilt of the
machine", page 54 and chapter "Adjusting the height of the
drawbar", page 55.
Adjustment of the drive shaft: see chapter "Adjusting the
drive shaft", page 57.
After coupling of the machine:
Using the hand crank raise the support foot (Figure 27) of
the machine so far that there is sufficient ground clearance.
withdraw the safety bolt from the support foot holder. Slide
the support foot in the support foot holder fully up by hand.
Reinsert the safety bolt into the support foot holder.
Attention, danger of injury!
The machine is delivered for different coupling variants.
Conversion from one coupling variant to the other is allowed
to be carried out by expert personnel only. Observe national
regulations!
