Subsequently:
 Connect the machine with the tractor.
 Establish the electrical and hydraulic connections between
tractor and machine.
Close feed channel floor HYDROFLEXCONTROL:
 See separate operating manual "PRO-LINK for RPC 445",
chapter "Bottom door".
Deactivate hydraulic safeguard of tailgate:
 See chapter 3.10 Tailgate Safeguard.
Close tailgate:
 See separate operating manual "PRO-LINK for RPC 445",
chapter "Tailgate".
If desired, move cutting device to cutting position:
 See chapter "Working with the Desired Knife Group",
page 70.
Note!
Before production is started the wrapping ring must be fully
raised once to ensure that the horizontal position of the
wrapping ring is automatically adjusted and that the
horizontal position is optimal for the desired bale diameter.
Fold wrapping ring fully up:
 See separate operating manual "PRO-LINK for RPC 445",
chapter "Wrapping ring (up and down)".
If now production is to be started switch the machine to
"AUTOMATIC/STAND-BY" mode:
 See separate operating manual "PRO-LINK for RPC 445",
chapter "MENU: MONITOR (AUTOMATIC)".
