RemovingaremotelyinstalledRAIDadapterbatteryorflashpowermodule
UsethisinformationtoremoveaRAIDadapterbatteryorflashpowermoduleremotelyintheserver.
Readthesafetyinformationin“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”onpage35.
Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
IfaServeRAIDadapterbatteryorflashpowermoduleisinstalledandyouneedtoreplaceit,completethe
followingsteps.
Step1.Carefullyturntheserveronitssidesothatitislyingflat,withthecoverfacingup.
Attention:Donotallowtheservertofallover.
Step2.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage184).
Step3.Pullthereleasetaboutwardandunlockthebattery/flashpowermoduleretentionclip.
