ToremoveaPCI-Xbracket,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Carefullyturntheserveronitssidesothatitislyingflat,withthecoverfacingup.
Attention:Donotallowtheservertofallover.
Step2.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage184).
Step3.RemovetheadapterifoneisinstalledonthePCI-Xbracket(see“Removinganadapter”onpage
213).
Step4.RemovethescrewthatsecuresthePCI-Xbrackettotheserverchassis.
Step5.PullthePCI-XbracketoutofPCIslot1andsaveitforfutureuse.
