andstoresdataacrossDIMMsontwoorfourmemorychannelssimultaneously.Ifafailureoccurs,
thememorycontrollerswitchesfromtheDIMMsontheprimarychanneltotheDIMMsonthebackup

Memorysparingprovideslessredundancythanmemorymirroringdoes.Ifapredeterminedthreshold
ofcorrectableerrorsisreached,thecontentsofthefailingDIMMarecopiedtothesparememory,and
