Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremovetheleft-sidecover/powercut-offswitchassembly,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Carefullyturntheserveronitssidesothatitislyingflat,withthecoverfacingup.
Attention:Donotallowtheservertofallover.
Step2.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage184).
Step3.Removethecablefromthesystemboard(see“Internalcableroutingandconnectors”onpage312).
Step4.Removethescrewthatsecuresthepowercut-offswitchassemblyfromthechassiswall.
