Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static-
sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with
an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.
Note: If you have installed a T4 GPU adapter, install a T4 filler onto the server cover for proper cooling and
airflow.

Procedure
Step 1. Locate the corresponding location on the bottom of the server cover for the applicable PCIe slot.
Step 2. Wipe the surface with an alcohol cleaning pad.

Step 3. Peel away the plastic and apply the T4 filler. Make sure the T4 filler is aligned to the
1 corner mark.
Note: Make sure the alcohol has fully evaporated before applying the new T4 filler.
