Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”on
page116.
Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercords.
Step3.Removethecover(see“Removingthecover”onpage119).
Step4.Disconnectthecablefromtheconnectoronthebatteryorpowermodule.
Note:Thecableroutingisdifferentbetween2.5-inchand3.5-inchharddiskdriveservermodels.
