Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercords;then,removethe
cover(see“Removingthecover”onpage119
).
Step3.Disconnectanycablesfromtheadapter.
Step4.GraspthePCIriser-cardassemblyatthebluetabsandlifttoremovethePCIriser-cardassembly.
Step5.PlacethePCIriser-cardassemblyonaflatandstatic-protectivesurface.
Step6.Carefullygrasptheadapterbyitstopedgeoruppercorners,andpulltheadapterfromthePCI
riser-cardassembly.
