CDtoconfigureanysupportedLenovoservermodel.Thesetupprogramprovidesalistoftasksthatare
requiredtosetupyourservermodel.OnaserverwithaServeRAIDadapterorSAS/SATAcontrollerwith
RAIDcapabilities,youcanruntheSAS/SATARAIDconfigurationprogramtocreatelogicaldrives.

2.TheServerGuideprogramstoresinformationabouttheservermodel,serviceprocessor,harddiskdrive
controllers,andnetworkadapters.Then,theprogramcheckstheCDfornewerdevicedrivers.This
informationisstoredandthenpassedtotheoperating-systeminstallationprogram.
3.TheServerGuideprogrampresentsoperating-systempartitionoptionsthatarebasedonyour
operating-systemselectionandtheinstalledharddiskdrives.
4.TheServerGuideprogrampromptsyoutoinsertyouroperating-systemCDandrestarttheserver.At
thispoint,theinstallationprogramfortheoperatingsystemtakescontroltocompletetheinstallation.
