2.ObservetheassociatedyellowharddiskdrivestatusLED.IftheLEDislit,it
indicatesadrivefault.
3.IftheLEDislit,removethedrivefromthebay,wait45seconds,andreinsert
thedrive,makingsurethatthedriveassemblyconnectstotheharddiskdrive
backplane.
4.ObservetheassociatedgreenharddiskdriveactivityLEDandtheyellow
statusLED:
IfthegreenactivityLEDisflashingandtheyellowstatusLEDisnotlit,the
driveisrecognizedbythecontrollerandisworkingcorrectly.RuntheDSA
diagnosticsprogramtodeterminewhetherthedriveisdetected.
IfthegreenactivityLEDisflashingandtheyellowstatusLEDisflashing
slowly,thedriveisrecognizedbythecontrollerandisrebuilding.
IfneitherLEDislitorflashing,checktheharddiskdrivebackplane(goto
Step5onpage72).
IfthegreenactivityLEDisflashingandtheyellowstatusLEDislit,replace
thedrive.IftheactivityoftheLEDsremainsthesame,gotoStep5onpage
