Toremovetheoperatorinformationpanelassembly,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Readthesafetyinformationthatbeginson“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”on
page116.
Step2.Turnofftheserverandperipheraldevicesanddisconnectallpowercords;then,removethe
cover(see“Removingthecover”onpage119).
Step3.Fortheeight2.5-inchhot-swaporsimple-swapandten2.5-inchhot-swapharddiskdriveserver
configuration,removethemediacage(see“Removingthemediacage”onpage228
).Forthefour
3.5-inchhot-swaporsimple-swapharddiskdriveserverconfiguration,disconnecttheoperator
informationpanelassemblycablefromthesystemboard;then,removetheassemblyfromthe
chassis.Seethefollowingillustrationwhenyouhavethisparticularservermodel.
