Usethisinformationtoreplaceahot-swapdcpowersupply.
Thefollowingnotesdescribethetypeofpowersupplythattheserversupportsandotherinformationthat
youmustconsiderwhenyouinstallapowersupply:
•Beforeyouinstallanadditionalpowersupplyorreplaceapowersupplywithoneofadifferentwattage,
youmayusethePowerConfiguratorutilitytodeterminecurrentsystempowerconsumption.For

•Theservercomeswithonehot-swap12-voltoutputpowersupplythatconnectstopowersupplybay1.
Theinputvoltageis-48Vdcor-60Vdcauto-sensing.
•Beforeyouinstalladcpowersupplyintheserver,youmustremoveallacpowersupplies.Donotuse
bothacanddcpowersuppliesinthesameserver.Installuptotwodcpowersuppliesoruptotwoac
powersupplies,butnotacombination.
•Powersupply1isthedefault/primarypowersupply.Ifpowersupply1fails,youmustreplacethepower
supplywiththesamewattageimmediately.
•Youcanorderanoptionalpowersupplyforredundancy.
•Thesepowersuppliesaredesignedforparalleloperation.Intheeventofapower-supplyfailure,the
redundantpowersupplycontinuestopowerthesystem.Theserversupportsamaximumoftwo
powersupplies.
•Itisthecustomer'sresponsibilitytosupplythenecessarypowercable.Toreducetheriskofelectric
shockorenergyhazards:
–Useapropercircuitbreaker.
–Use4mm

–T orquethewiring-terminalscrewsto0.50~0.60newton-meters(4.43~5.31inch-pounds).
