ADF paper present sensor test
This test should be used if the ADF fails to feed paper when a scan is performed. To test this sensor, perform
the following steps:
1. In the sensor test menu, press or to scroll to the ADF paper present test.
2. Press Select ( ). Starting Test displays. ADF Paper: Closed displays.
3. Press the ADF paper present sensor actuator (A) the top of the ADF unit. ADF Paper: Open should display
if the sensor is working properly.
4. Press Back ( ) to exit the test and return to the Scanner sensor tests.
