5. Press the valve stem oil seal with the valve stem seal installer until the seal contacts the chamfer on the cylinder head
guide.

6. For all intake and exhaust valves, ensure that the installed height is as specified.

7. Install the valve spring.
8. Place a spring retainer on the valve spring.

CAUTION
Improperly compressed springs or improperly locked valve caps could allow the spring to be ejected with tremendous force,
which could cause personal injury. Use care when compressing the valve springs or releasing the valve spring compressor
tool.
9. Compress the valve spring using a valve spring compressor.

10. Coat the valve stem keepers with lubricant to hold in place.
