Remove the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Removal.

7. Use a fuel pressure gauge to relieve pressure at the Schrader valve. Drain the fuel into a suitable container and dispose of
the fuel according to local regulations.

8. Disconnect the fuel feed line to the injector rail.

CAUTION
Failure to release pressure from the fuel system will result in fuel spraying out, which can cause a fire or explosion. Allow the
engine to cool completely and release all fuel pressure before servicing any part of the fuel system. Always protect eyes and
skin from pressurized fuel and vapors.
NOTE: To release the fuel feed line, push the blue release and pull off the fuel feed line.

9. Disconnect the remaining wiring harness from the injectors.
10. Remove the four fuel rail retaining screws.
11. Carefully remove the fuel rail and fuel injectors from the intake manifold.
NOTE: Once the assembly has been removed from the intake manifold, the injectors can be removed from the rail. Be
certain to take note of the injector location for reinstallation.
Installation
NOTE: Refer to the illustrations in the
Removal
procedure as necessary.
1. Inspect the fuel injector seals for damage. Replace if necessary.
2. Attach the injectors to the fuel rails.
