SRS.
DONOTallowtheseareastobeoodedwith
liquidandDONOTusepetrol,detergent,
furniturecreamorpolishes.
IfwatercontaminatesorenterstheSRSit
maycausedamageandaffectdeployment.
InthiscasecontactanMGAuthorised
Repairerimmediately.
T opreventdamagetotheairbagSRS,thefollowing
areasshouldbecleanedsparinglywithadampclothand
upholsterycleanerONLY:
•Steeringwheelcentrepad.
•Areaofdashboardcontainingthepassengerairbag.
•Areaofroofliningandfrontpillarnisherswhich
enclosethesideheadimpactprotectionmodules.
Iftheairbagwarninglampfailstoilluminate,stayson,or
ifthereisdamagetothefrontorsideofthevehicle,or
theairbagcoversshowsignsofdamage,contactanMG
AuthorisedRepairerimmediately.
IMPORT ANT
•Theremovalorreplacementofanairbagmodule
shouldbecarriedoutbyanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
•After10yearsfromtheinitialdateofregistration
(orinstallationdateofareplacementairbag),some
componentswillneedtobereplacedbyanMG
AuthorisedRepairer.Theappropriatepageofthe
ServiceRecordsmustbesignedandstampedonce
theworkhasbeencompleted.
