ForwardCollisionWarningSystem(FCW)
Thedrivershouldpayfullattentionanddrive
carefullyevenifthevehicleisequippedwith
theforwardcollisionwarningsystem.
Theforwardcollisionwarningsystemdetectsother
vehiclesandpedestriansaheadusingtheforwarddetection
radarandfrontviewcamera.Whenthespeedisabove
18mphandthevehicleisapproachingthevehicleor
pedestrianaheadrapidly,thesystemwillpromptthedriver
toslowdownintimeandkeeparelativelysafedistance
fromthevehicleorpedestrianaheadbyemittinganaudible
alertanddisplayingapromptintheinformationmessage
centreintheinstrumentpack.
Note:Whenthevehiclespeedisbetween18and
52mph,stationarytargetscanbedetected.When
thevehiclespeedisbetween18and93mph,moving
targetscanbedetected.Whenthevehiclespeedis
between18and39mph,pedestrianscanbedetected.
Forwardcollisionwarningsystemsetting
Theoperatinginterfacefortheforwardcollisionwarning
systemislocatedintheinfotainmentdisplay.Enterthe
vehiclesettinginterfacetolocatethedrivingassistoption,
scrollacrossthepagetondthesettinginterfaceforthe
forwardcollisionsystem.
1T ouchthecorrespondingbuttonintheinfotainment
displaytoswitchtheforwardcollisionsystemon/off.
Selectalertintheassistmodetoactivatetheforward
collisionwarningsystem.WhentheSTART/STOP
SwitchisON/READ Y ,theswitchdefaultstoON.
Whenthedriveractivelyselectstoturnoffthe
function,thepromptmessagewillbedisplayedin
theinformationmessagecentreintheinstrument
pack,andtheconrmationmessagepopupinthe
infotainmentdisplay.
2T ouchthecorrespondingbuttonintheinfotainment
systemtoadjustthealertsensitivity.Thesystem
defaultstothelastselectedstatefromwhenthe
START/STOPSwitchwasON/READY .
