Kick-down
Thedrivewheelsmayskidwhenkick-downis
activatedonroadsurfaceswithlowadhesion,
thismayleadtothevehicleslidingoutof
control.
WithDgearselected,pressingtheacceleratorpedalall
thewaydowninonemotion(alsoknownasKick-down)
willprovidebetteraccelerationperformanceduring
overtaking.Undercertainconditions,itwillallowthe
transmissiontoshifttoalowergearimmediately,and
providefastacceleration.Oncetheacceleratorpedal
isreleased,itwillresumeasuitablenormalgear(based
onthevehiclespeedandthepositionoftheaccelerator
pedal).

Pistheinitialgearpositionafterthevehicleisstarted.With
thebrakepedaldepressed,aftershiftingtothedesired
gearandwaitingforthefullengagementoftheelectric
drivetransmission,releasethebrakepedalanddepressthe
acceleratorpedaltobeginvehiclemotion.
