AdaptiveCruiseOverride
Ifthedriverhascausetousetheacceleratorpedalwhen
theACCisactivated,thevehiclewillremaininCruise
modewhilethevehiclespeedincreases.Whenthe
acceleratorpedalisreleased,theACCwillresumeto
operateatpreviouslysetcruisespeed.
Ifthedriveracceleratestoahigherspeedandthenreleases
theacceleratortheACCwilldecreasetothetargetcruise
speedinamoregradualmanner.Ifitisnecessaryto
decreasetothetargetcruisespeedrapidly,thedrivermay
manuallymovetheleverswitch'Deceleration'(2).
Note:Iftheacceleratorpedalispressedandheld
abovethepresettimeperiodtheACCmayexittothe
Standbymode.
AdaptiveCruiseResume
IftheACCsystemhasrevertedto,orbeenswitchedto,
theStandbymodeitcanbereactivatedbymovingthelever
switchto'Resume'position(5).Thetargetcruisespeed
willautomaticallybesettothetargetspeedbeforeexiting
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystem.
Whendrivingatahighspeed,ifthedriverresumesto
alowertargetcruisespeed,theACCwilldecreaseto
thetargetcruisespeedinamoregradualmanner.If
itisnecessarytodecreasetothetargetcruisespeed
rapidly,thedrivermaymanuallymovetheleverswitch
'Deceleration'(2).
CleartheSpeedMemory
Iftheleverswitchismovedto'OFF'position(7)or
thevehicleSTART/STOPSwitchisswitchedtotheOFF
position,thesystemmaycleartheadaptivecruisecontrol
setspeedinthememory.
