andsize.Infantslessthan2yearsoldshouldberestrained
inaninfantchildrestraintsystem.
Itisrecommendedthatachildrestraintsystemthat
complieswithUNECE-R44orECE-R129standardare
ttedinthisvehicle.Checkmarkingsonthechildrestraint
system.
Thereareanumberofchildrestraintsystemsavailableof
differenttypeandspecication.Foroptimumprotection,
itisrecommendedthatyouchooserestraintsystems
appropriatetothechild’sageandweight.
Itisimportanttocomplywithinstallationinstructions
suppliedbythechildrestraintmanufacturerandthatchild
restraintsystemisproperlysecuredtothevehicle.Failure
tofollowtheseinstructionsmaycausedeathorserious
injurytothechildinaneventofasuddenstoporaccident.
•Alloccupants,includingchildrenmustwearseatbelts
oruseanappropriatechildrestraint.
•MGstronglyrecommendsthatchildrenunder12years
ofageorlessthan1.5metrestallshouldusethe
appropriatechildrestraintttedtotherearseat.
•Onlyonechildcanbecarriedinanyonerestraint.
•Donotputthechildonthelaporinarmswhensitting
inanyseat.
•Alwaysadjusttheseatbackresttoaproperposition
andensureitislockedinpositionwheninstallingachild
seatorrestraint.
•Ifinstallingarearfacingchildrestrainttotherear
seat,thecorrespondingfrontseatshouldbeadjusted
forward;ifinstallingaforwardfacingchildrestraint
totherearseat,youmayneedtoadjusttheheight
oftheheadresttothelowest;ifinstallingaforward
facingchildrestrainttothefrontseat,youmayneedto
removeitsheadrest.
•Neverletyourchildstandorkneelontheseatduring
driving.
•Alwaysensurethechildisseatedcorrectlyinthechild
restraint.
