Fuelllerapislocatedattheleftrearofthevehicle.
Thevehicleusesahigh-pressurefueltanksystem.The
pressureinthefueltankwillbehigherthanatmospheric
pressure.Beforeopeningthefuelllerap,pressthe
fuelllerapreleaseswitch(locatedatthebottomright
ofthedriversidelowerdashpanel)for2secondsthen
release,thesystemwillstarttherefuelingpreparations
forpressurerelief.Simultaneouslytheinstrumentpack
willshow"PleaseWaittoRefuel...".Aftertherefueling
preparationsarecompleted,theindicatoronthefuelller
apreleaseswitchilluminatesgreen,theinstrumentpack
shows"PleaseRefuel".Atthistime,youcanopenthefuel
llerap.
Insomerarecases,thefuelllerapmayfailtoopenwithin
30secondsofpressingthefuelllerapreleaseswitchfor
thersttime.Thisisbecausethepressurereliefprocess
hasnotbeencompleted.Pleasepressthebuttonasecond
time.Whenthefuelllerapopens,pleaseunscrewthe
fuelllercapslowlyforrefueling.Insomecasesthefuel
deliverynozzlemay‘cutoff'prematurely,ifthiscontinues
pleaseconsultanMGAuthorisedRepairerforserviceas
soonaspossible.
Ifeitherofthefollowingoccur,itindicatesthattherefueling
systemdetectedafaultorfailed.Inthiscase,pleasecontact
anMGAuthorisedRepairerforservice.
