catalyticconverterandparticulatelter,
areductioninenginepower/torqueand
increaseinfuelconsumptionwilloccurifthe
wrongfuelisused.
Usethefuelrecommendedbythemanufacturer.See"Main
ParametersofEngine"in"T echnicalData"chapter.
Ifalowergradeoffuelisused,anengineknockingnoise
mayoccur ,pleaseusetherecommendedorabovegrade
gasolineassoonaspossible.Iftheengineknockingnoise
isstillnoticeableafterusingtherecommendedorabove
gradefuel,pleasecontactanMGAuthorisedRepairer
immediately.Itispermittedthattheoctanenumberof
gasolineishigherthanthatrequiredbytheengine,but
itisnotadvantageousforengineoutputpowerandfuel
consumption.
SafetyPrecautionsinaFuelFillingStation
Vehiclefuelgasesarehighlyammable
and,inconnedspaces,arealsoextremely
explosive.
Alwaystakecarewhenrefueling:
•Stopthepowersystem;
•Donotsmokeoruseanakedame;
•Donotuseamobilephone;
•Preventfuelspillage;
•Donotoverllthetank.
