STARTING&DRIVING
Incasethatthevehiclewithhighcentreofmassdueto
dynamicdriving(suchaschangelane)orstabledriving(such
asloopdriving)mayrollover ,ARPbrakestheoutside
wheelstounder-steer,therebypreventingthevehiclefrom
rollover.
Note:DuringARPapplicationthesteering
characteristicsofthevehiclemaybenoticeably
differentfromnormal.
EmergencyBrakingHazardWarningLights
ControlSystem(HAZ)
Ifthevehicleistravellingathighspeedandthedriver
makesanemergencybrakingmanoeuvre,thesystemwill
automaticallyashthebrakelampstowarnthefollowing
drivers,therebyeffectivelyreducingtheriskofrear-end
collisionaccidents.
Note:Ifthehazardwarninglightsarebeingoperated
manually,thissuspendstheHAZfunction.
Whentheemergencybrakingmanoeuvreisexited(no
severedecelerationdetected)thenthefunctionwillbe
switchedoffafterafewseconds.
Note:Asthecarspeeddropstobelow6mphandthe
systemnolongerashesthebrakelamps,thehazard
warninglampswillilluminateautomatically.Short
pressthehazardwarninglampswitchorincreaseyour
speedtoabove12mphfor5stoswitchoffthehazard
warninglamps.
