Inanaccident,yourvehicle’seCall–SOSEmergency
Assistancecaneitherbetriggeredmanuallyorinsevere
casesautomaticallyupondetectionbyvehicle’ssensors.
TheeCallserviceisapublicserviceofgeneralinterestand
isaccessiblefreeofcharge.Theemergencycallcentrewill
establishverbalcommunicationwiththevehicleoccupants
inordertounderstandtheextentoftheemergencyand
thelevelofassistancerequired.Ifverbalcommunication
isnotachievableanattemptwillbemadetosendthe
followingvehicleinformationmessagetotheemergency
callcentre.Theappropriateemergencyserviceswillbe
deployedtothevehicle’scurrentlocationifknown.

•Vehicletype
•Vehicleidenticationnumber(VIN)
•Whetherthecallwasautomaticallyormanuallyinitiated
•Vehiclecategory
Thissystemwillensurethatyourpersonaldataissecurely
protected.Itisdesignedtoensurethatitisnottraceable
andotherexternalsystemsarenotavailable.When
theeCalltriggers,thesystemwillonlytransmitthedata
informationtotherelevantpublicsafetyansweringpoints
designatedbytherespectivepublicauthoritiesofthe
countryonwhichterritorytheyarelocated,whichwill
receiveandprocessyouremergencycallrequest.The
systemwillretaindatalocallywithin13hoursoftriggering.
Y ouhavetherighttoaccessthedatainformationstored
inthissystem,andtorequesttherectication,erasure
orblockingofdatainformationthatdoesnotmeetthe
requirementsoftheregulations.Whenyouthinkyour
personaldataisinfringed,youhavetherighttocomplain
tothecompetentdataprotectionauthority.
Formanualactivation,pressandreleasetheSOSbutton
intheoverheadconsolefor1secondtoactivatean
emergencyservicescall.Asinglebeepwillbeheardwhen
theeCallistriggeredandamessagewillbedisplayedon
thevehicle’smessagecentreandentertainmentplayer.The
entertainmentplayerwillbemutedwhilsttheemergency
servicescallisactive.Manuallytriggeredemergency
servicescallsmaybecancelledbypressingandreleasing
theSOSbuttonagainwithin5secondsoftheinitialpress,
twobeepswillbeheardconrmingthattheemergency
