AutoHold
Whenautoholdstopsthevehicleforreasons
suchaspowersystemshutdown,releasingthe
seatbeltorpressingtheautoholdswitch,
theelectronicparkingbrakeisapplied.It
cannotbeguaranteedthatthevehiclewill
bestabilisedinallcases.Forexample,the
rearwheelsareonaslipperyroadsurface,
orthevehicleinclineistoogreat(largerthan
20%).Pleasemakesurethatthevehicleis
safelystabilisedpriortoexiting.
Theautoholdfunctioncannotguaranteethe
stabilityofthevehiclewhenstartingoffor
brakingonhillsespeciallyonslipperyoricy
surfaces.
DONOTtakeanyextrariskswhendriving
duetothefactthevehicleisttedwith
additionalconveniencefunctions.Thedriver
shouldpayfullattentionandobservethe
surroundingsevenifthevehicleisequipped
withautoholdsystem.
DONOTleavethevehiclewhenthepower
systemisoperatingandtheautoholdis
active.
Autoholdcannotguaranteetheelectronic
parkingbrakeoperationinallcaseswhere
thepowersystemisturnedoff.Pleaseensure
theelectronicparkingbrakeisappliedand
thevehicleisstablisedpriortoexitingthe
vehicle.
Theautoholdfunctionshouldbeswitchedoff
duringtheuseofautomaticcarwashes,the
electronicparkingbrakemaysuddenlyapply
andcausevehicledamage.
Withthepowersystemactive,ifthevehicleisrequiredto
stopfrequentlyforalengthoftime(suchastrafclights,
trafcqueuesorstop/start),theautoholdsystemassists
instabilisingthevehicle,enablingyoutoremoveyourfoot
fromthebrakepedalwhenthevehicleisstationaryandthe
AutoHoldactive.
