forPedestrians(AEBP).Undercertainconditions,the
drivingassistsystemcandetecttheroadandenvironmental
informationaheadofthevehiclebyutilisingafrontview
cameraandafrontdetectionradar.Thisinformationis
usedtorelaywarningmessagesorprovideassistanceto
helpthedrivercontrolthevehiclemoresafelyandreliably.
Thefrontviewcameraislocatedattheuppermiddle
ofthewindscreen(intheinteriorrearviewmirrorbase
cover)，thefrontdetectionradarislocatedatthelower
middleofthefrontbumper.

Calibrationoffrontviewcamera
Thefrontviewcamerawillrequirere-calibrationafterany
ofthefollowingoperations:
•Removalandrettingofthefrontviewcamera.
•Replacementofthewindscreen.
Note:Thecalibrationoffrontviewcamerarequires
professionalknowledgeandtools.Ifcalibrationis
required,pleaseseekanMGAuthorisedRepairer.
Note:Aftercompletingthecalibrationitisnot
possibletoimmediatelyselectanydrivingassist
options.Thevehiclepowersystemmustbeswitched
totheOFFpositionandthenswitchedtoON/READY.
Obstructionofthefrontviewcamera
Onoccasionthefrontviewcameraviewmaybecome
obstructedbyforeignobjectsorstainsontheglass.
Inthesecasesapromptmessagewillappearinthe
informationcentre.Pleasecleanorwipeimmediately.
