AdaptiveCruiseControlSystemActivation
TheAdaptiveCruiseControlsystemisoperatedwitha
leverswitchlocated,attheleftsideofthesteeringwheel
underneaththeindicator/lightingstalkswitch.
1WiththevehicleSTART/STOPSwitchinthe
ON/READYposition,iftheadaptivecruiselever
switchisinthe'OFF'position(7),thentheadaptive
cruisecontrolsystemisswitchedOFF .
2Movetheadaptivecruiseleverswitchtothe'ON'
position(4),theadaptivecruisesystemstatusindicator
ontheinstrumentpack
illuminatesyellow,andthe
adaptivecruisecontrolsystemisintheStandbymode.
3Thesystemwillautomaticallydetectthespeedand
positionofthevehicleahead,ifyourvehiclespeedis
above3mph,afterpressingthe'Set'button(6)atthe
endoftheadaptivecruisestalklever,theindicator
ontheinstrumentpack
willturngreen,andthe
adaptivecruisecontrolsystementerstheActivated
mode,itstargetspeedistheactualspeedatactivation;
ifyourvehiclespeedislessthan20mph,thenthe
targetspeedofthesystemissetat20mph.Ifthe
speedofthevehicleaheadisgreaterthanthecruise
targetspeedofyourvehicle,yourvehiclewillmaintain
thetargetspeedtoconductconstantspeedcruise;
ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadislowerthanthe
cruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,itwillenterthe
car-followingcruise,animageofyourcarandthecar
aheadseparatedbyagridisdisplayedintheinstrument
packmessagecentre,inthismodetheactualspeed
