Theintelligentspeedlimitisanauxiliary
function,itmaydisplayanincorrectspeed
limitvalueornospeedlimitvalueinthe
instrumentpackduetovariousfactors.As
aresult,thevehiclespeedisnotrestricted
withinthecorrectrange.Thedriverstill
needstoobservethespeedlimitoftheroad
trafc,andspeedingisstrictlyprohibited.
Thefrontviewcameracannotrecognise
speedlimitsignspaintedontheroadsurface.
ThedriverMUSTobservethesespeedlimits
andadjustthetheirspeedaccordingly.
Thespeedassistsystemsettingsareavailableviathe
infotainmentsystem.Whentheadaptivecruisecontrol
systemisOFF ,thefollowingthreefunctionscanbe
selected:

1SpeedLimitInformationFunction(SLIF):Thevehicle
detectsaspeedlimitsign(asshownabove)atthe
roadsidewiththefrontviewcamera.Thespeedlimit
signidentiedwillbedisplayedintheinstrumentpack.
Whenthevehiclespeedexceedsthespeedlimitbya
presetamount,avisualwarningintheinstrumentpack
willash.
2ManualSpeedAssist(MSA):Thedriversetsthe
maximumspeedusingtheadaptivecruisecontrol
lever .Thesystemwillactivelyinterveneandkeepthe
vehiclespeedwithinthepermittedmaximumspeed
limit.Anacousticwarningandavisualwarningwillbe
utilisedduringtheintervention.Pleaserefertothe
section“Speedsettingsofmanualspeedassist”.
3IntelligentSpeedAssist(ISA):Thevehicledetectsa
speedlimitsign(asshownabove)attheroadside
withthefrontviewcamera.Thespeedlimitsign
identiedwillbedisplayedintheinstrumentpack.
Thesystemwillautomaticallyinterveneandmaintain
speedcontroltokeepthevehiclespeedwithinthe
permittedmaximumspeedlimit.Anacousticwarning
andavisualwarningwillbeutilisedwhenoverspeed.
