InTheEventofanAccident
•EnsurethevehicleisinP ,theparkingbrake
isappliedandthevehiclepowersystemis
OFF.
•Ifanycablesonthevehicleareexposed,
inordertopreventelectricshockoreven
deathDONOTmakeanycontactwith
anycable.
•Ifthevehiclecatchesre,andthere
issmallandslow,acarbondioxide
extinguishercanbeusedtoextinguish
there,andcontacttheredepartment
assoonaspossible;ifthereislarge
andspreadingquickly,immediately
evacuatethevehicleandcontactthere
departmentimmediately.
•Ifthevehicleisinvolvedinacollision
andcannotbere-started,themaster
safetyswitch-ManualServiceDisconnect
(MSD)MUSTbedisconnectedpriorto
rescue.
•Whenthevehicleiscompletelyorpartially
immersedinwater,switchoffthevehicle
powersystemandevacuatethecar
immediately.Themastersafetyswitch-
ManualServiceDisconnect(MSD)MUST
bedisconnectedpriortorescueorassoon
asthevehicleisreoated/removedfrom
thewater.Observethewater/vehicle
foranyabnormalsignssuchasexcessive
bubblesornoises,thismayindicate
batteryshortcircuitissues,ifnosigns
areevidentthereshouldnotbeashock
riskfromthebodyworkandrecoverycan
commence.
•Ifyourcarisbeingrecoveredbyan
independentrecoveryagent,please
contactanMGAuthorisedRepairerfor
maintenance.
•Thevehicleissuppliedwitharescue
informationcard(intheglovebox).Please
showthecardtotherescuepersonnel
whentheyarrive.
