buttononthedoorhandletounlockthecar.Ifthecar
cannotbeunlockedorlockednormally,seekanMG
AuthorisedRepairer .
Mislock
Ifthedriver'sdoorisnotfullyclosedwhenthesmartkey
lockbuttonispressed,orthevehiclepowersystemhas
notbeenswitchedOFF ,thevehiclehornwillsoundonce,
indicatingamislock.Inthiscase,noneofthedoorswill
lock,thealarmsystemwillnotbearmedandthedirection
indicatorlightswillnotash.
Iflockingoperationisperformedwhenthedriver'sdooris
closedbutthepassenger'sdoororbonnetandtailgateare
notfullyclosed,thevehiclehornwillsoundonce,indicating
amislock.Inthiscase,the‘partialarming’attributesofthe
bodyanti-theftsystemwillenable(allfullycloseddoors,
bonnetortailgateapertureswillbeprotected,butanopen
aperturewillnot!).Assoonastheopenapertureis
closed,thesystemwillautomaticallyreverttoanarmed
state.

Ifthevehicleislockedusingthemechanicalkeybladeor
handsetwhilstasmartkey/sremaininside,thefollowing
actionswilloccur:
