Note:Incertainconditionswherethevehiclehasbeen
stoppedorparkedonanextremeincline,thetailgate
maycannotbeelectricallyopenedorfullycloseddue
tothechangeofcentre-of-gravityposition.
Ifthetailgatefailstofullyopentoit'spresetheight,orfully
close,carryoutamanualoperationtoclosethetailgate,
thiswillrestoretheelectrictailgateoperation.
Note:Duringmanualoperationoftheelectric
tailgate,avoidviolentorrapidoperation,failureto
followtheseinstructionsmayresultindamagetothe
powertailgatesystem.
Whenthetailgateisfullycloseditwilllockinpositionusing
theelectroniccatch.
Anti-pinchFunction
Whilstopeningthetailgate:Incaseswhereanobject
thatinterfereswiththetailgateoperationisdetected,
thetailgatewillstopopeningandreturntoasafeangle
automaticallywheretheobstruction/scanberemoved.
Whilstclosingthetailgate:Incaseswhereanobject
thatinterfereswiththetailgateoperationisdetected,
thetailgatewillstopclosingandreturntoasafeangle
automaticallywheretheobstructionscanberemoved.
Note:Iftheanti-punchfunctionhasbeenactivated
multipletimesinabriefperiod,thesystemwillsuspend
theelectricopening/closingfunctionforprotection.In
thissituation,thetailgatecanbefullyclosedonce
manuallysoastoresetthefunctionofelectrictailgate.
Note:Ifthetailgateisfrequentlyoperatedina
shortperiod,thesystemthermalprotectionmaybe
triggered,causingtheelectricopening/closingfunction
tobetemporarilyunavailable.Operationwillbe
suspendedforapresettimelimit.
SettingOpeningHeightforElectricT ailgate
Userscansettheopeningheightofelectrictailgateas
neededbyusingtheClosebuttononthetailgateor
Infotainmentscreen.Theelectrictailgatecontrollerwill
recordthenewopeningheight.
Note:Theopeningheightsettingvaluesoftheelectric
tailgatemustbebetween40%and100%ofitstotal
stroke.
