radiosignalscausinginterferenceorthesmartkeybattery
conditionislow,pleaseusethefollowingstepstoattempt
tostartthecar:
1Placethesmartkeycentrallyinthecentreconsolecup
holdercubbyboxwiththebuttonsfacingupward-as
shownintheillustration.
2EnsurePorNisselected,pressthebrakepedaland
thenpresstheSTART/STOPSwitchtostartthepower
system.
Ifthevehiclepowersystemcannotbechangedafterthe
carhaslefttheareaofstrongradiointerferenceorhad
thesmartkeybatteryreplacedpleaseconsultanMG
AuthorisedRepairer .

Applicationscopeofalternativestartingprocedure:
•TheAlternativeStartingProcedureshouldonlybe
requiredifthesmartkeybatteryisveryloworat.
•Oncethevehiclehasbeenremovedfromthearea
ofexcessiveradiointerferencethekeylessentryand
