Whensomeseriousfunctionalfailuresoccurinthegear
shiftsystem,theinstrumentclusterwilldisplay“EP”orP
buttonindicatorwillash.Atthistime,forsafedriving,if
thevehiclespeedislowerthanacertainvalue,thehybrid
systemwillforciblycutoffthepowertransmission,the
vehiclewillnotbeabletodrive!Insuchacase,please
contactanMGAuthorisedRepairerforassistanceassoon
aspossible.
Enginefailstostart
Whenengineinterventionisrequired,thesystemwill
attempttostarttheengine.Ifenginestartingisnot
successful,theyellowwarningindicatorintheinstrument
clusterwillilluminate.Duetotheengine’sfailure
tooperate,thevehiclecanonlybedriveninthepure
electricmodeatthistime,attentionshouldbepaidtothe
high-voltagebatterypower .Theinstrumentclusterwill
displayawarningmessage“EngineFault,PayAttentionto
SOC”.Insuchacase,pleasecontactanMGAuthorised
Repairerforassistance.
