Undermanualmode,ifthedrivermakesan
unreasonablegearselection,suchasrequestsanupshift
duringlowenginespeeds,orrequestsadownshift
duringhighenginespeeds,thetransmissionwillnot
respondandwillremaininthecurrentgear.Whenthe
vehicledrivesinacertaingear,andtheenginespeed
islowerthanacertainvalue,thetransmissionwill
automaticallydownshifttoanadjacentlowergearto
avoidengineameout;whenthevehicleaccelerates,
andtheenginespeedrisesupcontinuouslytothe
maximumspeedallowablebythegear,thetransmission
willautomaticallyupshifttoanadjacenthighergearto
protecttheengineifthereisnoupshiftrequest.
