Salt refill indicator
If the level in the salt container is low and a
reactivation is carried out, the following
message appears on the display:
Information
OK
Refill salt -appliance will
be disabled shortly.
Confirm the message with OK.
Fill the salt container as described.
If the message is being displayed for the
first time, further programme runs may be
possible depending on the set water hard-
ness. If no salt is added, the message is
displayed again at the end of every pro-
gramme.
Reactivation notification
OK
Information
Approx. wash cycles
left until reactivation.
You can set how many cleaning cycles in
advance you want to be notified of the up-
coming reactivation, see “Extended set-
tings”, “Reactivation notification”.
Machine blocked if salt is not avail-
able
If the salt in the water softener has been
used up, a fault appears on the display and
the machine blocked from performing fur-
ther applications.
Acknowledge the fault by tapping on the
warning symbol. Then follow the instruc-
tions on the display:

F561 Machine blocked
insufficient salt: refill
dishwasher salt. Machine
will unlock after a few
seconds. Then start the
“Cold” programme.
OK
Fill the salt container as described.
The machine lock is lifted with a delay of a
few minutes once salt has been added.
