We recommend
- When purchasing new crockery and cut-
lery, make sure they are dishwasher-safe
if you want to wash them in the dish-
washer.
- Clouding may occur on glasses after fre-
quent washing in the dishwasher. When
washing delicate glasses in the dish-
washer, ensure that only a special glass-
care programme with very low temperat-
ures (see “Programme chart”) is selected
and that a suitable cleaning agent is used.
This will reduce the risk of clouding.
Please note:
Silver and aluminium which has been in
contact with foods containing sulphur can
discolour.
Risk due to chemical reaction
Aluminium components (e.g. grease fil-
ters) must not be cleaned in the dish-
washer with caustic alkaline commercial
or industrial cleaning agents.
These may damage the material. In ex-
treme cases, they can cause a severe
chemical reaction (such as an explosive
oxyhydrogen gas reaction).
Do not clean pretreated aluminium com-
ponents in the dishwasher.
