Entering the media remaining amount
When [MEDIA RESIDUAL] of the machine setup is “ON”
(
P.3-17), the screen for entering media remaining
amount is displayed after detecting the media width.

About the media residual print
When [MEDIA RESIDUAL] of the machine setup is “ON”
( P.3-17), You can print a list of print the current date
and media remaining.

• It enters into the origin setting mode.

• Appear the confirmation screen of media
remaining print.

• Media residual print starts.
Setting of the manual media width
setting
When [MEDIA DETECT] of the machine setup is
“MANUAL” ( P.3-17), set the media width in the
following method.

Display the “MEDIA DETECT” screen.

Select the print area setting method.
• When setting the print area, use either "Manual"
to set the right and left edge of the media using
the jog key, or “Media width input mode” to set the
right edge of the media after inputting media
width.
• When “Manual” is selected, proceed to Step 3.
And when “Media width entering mode” is
selected, proceed to below.
(1) Press [][], and enter the media width.
(2) Press the [ENTER] key, and perform after
step3.

Press to set a light point of the
LED pointer to the right edge position of
the media.
• Align the light of the LED pointer incorporated in
the carriage to the right edge of the media.

Press the key.
• Next, the screen to enter the left edge position of
the media is displayed.
When “Media width entering mode” is selected on
step 2, this setting is end without display this
screen.

Press to set a light point of the
LED pointer to the left edge position of the
media.
• In the same manner as in step 3, align the light of
the LED pointer to the left edge of the media.

Press the key.
