Chapter 2 Basic Operation
Setting a roll media
Set a roll media to the roll media hanger located on the
back of this machine.

Move the roll holder located in the back of
the device to the direction of the middle of
the device.
• Loosen the roll holder fixing screw and then move it.

Check the clamp lever is lowered.

Move the roll holder to the roll setting
position.
If setting the media on the right side
• Check the roll stopper is not caught between the
roll stopper arm and this machine.
If setting the media in the center
• Move the roll holder so the media’s set position is
in the center of this machine.

Tighten the roll holder fixing screw.
• Check the Step 2 to 3 again.

Move the roll guide stay to match the
position to set the media in.
(1) After moving the stay, set
down the adjuster foot.
(2) Turn the screw on the
adjuster foot once.
• Make sure that the
adjuster foot is fixed
firmly to the floor.
If setting the media on the right side
• Move the roll guide stay so that it is to the left of
the right roll holder, as seen from the rear of the
machine.
If setting the media in the center
• Move the roll guide stay to the center of the roll
holder.

Set the left end of the core of the roll media
on the left roll holder.
• Push the roll media onto the roll holder until the
roll core is all the way seated.

• There are two types of the internal diameter of the
roll media paper tube: 2 inch and 3 inch.
