Chapter 3 Setup
Setting the Heater
Print heater / Post-heater are equipped on the platen.

Press the
(MENU)
key in
Local.

Press to select SETUP 1 to 4, and
press the key.
• Setup menu appears.

Press to select “Heater” , and
press the key.

Press to select heater , and press
the key.
• Heater : Print-heater, Post-heater (1L/1R/2L/2R)

Press to set the heater
temperature , and press the key.
•
Print and Post-heater (1L/1R) temperature
OFF/ 20°C to 60°C
•
Print-heater and Post-heater (2L/2R) temperature
OFF/ 20°C to 70°C

Press to select “EXTERNAL
HEATER” and press the key.
• Heater : Print-heater, Post-heater (1L/1R/2L/2R)

Press to select ON/OFF, and
press the key.

Press the key several times to
end the setting.
Setting of Logical Seek
The head’s operation varies depending on the Logical
Seek settings, as shown in the figure below.

Press to select “Logical Seek”,
and press the key.

Press to select a set value, and
press the key.
• Set value : Host / ON / OFF

end the setting.
Type of HEATER
Function
Print-heater Improves the image quality in printing.
Post-heater
Dries ink after printing.
There are the left post heater (1/2) and right
post heater (1/2) in accordance with the
printing method on this machine.
