Cleaning the ink receiving sponge

Shift the flushing unit to the left.
• Please conduct the operation up to P.4-4
“Cleaning the Flusing BOX Sensor” step 2.

Remove the flushing cover, and take out
the ink receiving sponge.
(1) Remove the screws (4 locations) of flushing
cover, and remove the cover.
(2) Remove the ink receiving sponge holding,
and take out the ink receiving sponge.

Soak the ink receiving sponge in tap water,
and lightly rubbing wash.
• Please ask the industrial waste treatment
company for the waste liquid treatment of the
waste that washed the sponge.

Return the flushing unit to its original
state.
• Install the flushing cover with the screw on the
back side.
• Please make sure that ink receiving sponge, ink
sponge holder, and flushing cover are seated in
the ink receiver.
