1 CONFIGURATION
This chapter describes the system configuration, and names and
functions of each part of Contracer, the CV-2100 series.
1.1 Overview
This system is a stylus type contour measuring instrument to measure contour shapes of
machine parts, resin molding parts, and more. This product features the following:
• It is equipped with the motor-operated stylus up/down function, and therefore,
repeated measurement with the same workpiece through a part program and
measurement of plural points can be performed.
• Introduction of the X-axis drive knob and jog shuttle into the measuring main unit
allows the stylus motor-operated movement to be performed at low/high speed.
• Providing the operation switch to the measuring main unit allows the operational flow
line from workpiece placement to measurement to be shortened, which can improve
throughput.
• CV-2100M4 can be operated with simple operations of "Hold, Move, and Release",
and the quick up/down stand that is operable with light force allows the stylus
approach and moving aside to be faster.
This measuring instrument is an industrial product. Do not use this product for other than
industrial purpose.
