4.3 List of Consumable
The motor and wires integrated in this measuring instrument are consumables. Although
their replacement depends on frequency of use, it is recommended to replace the motor
toward the end of its five-year use or 600,000-time reciprocating movements and the wires
toward the end of their five-year use or 300,000-time reciprocating movements.
Replacement requires the work of inside the machine and therefore needs to be
performed by an expert service engineer. For replacement, contact your dealer or the
nearest Mitutoyo sales office/service center.
