3.10 Example of Simple Measurement
The following explains the measurement procedure where CV-2100M4 is used.
3.10.1 Setting a workpiece
1. Move the stylus and measuring main unit aside to prevent them from collision with a
workpiece.
Move the stylus aside by using the up switch on the measuring main unit or the X-axis
drive knob.
Move the measuring main unit aside by using the quick up/down handle of the stand.
2. Place a workpiece in the measurable area. At this time, secure the workpiece firmly to
prevent it from being displaced during measurement.
